Back in School

School has reopened; second week and nothing seem unusual. I'm having trouble making my daily schedule due to TBA classes. Some courses are TBA for teachers also. I've been around for five semesters and the same thing happens over and over. It will not be until very late into the second week that everything will fall in place. I can say that I have gotten used to the typical uncertainty which characterizes the semester's begging. Textbooks are sky-high. I am totally dumbfounded by the high prises that recent editions fetch when they only contain a few more colorful pages and differently worded problems when compared to their earlier counterparts. As if to add insult to injury, some professors only accept the most recent book publications. One would think that those highly educated men and women would at least display some level of common sense when deciding on what book to use. I am tempted to think that they punish us with intent, or probably they think students are all rich and well-off. I'm getting too passionate about this subject matter and I will end on this note. All students, have a wonderful and productive semester.

Thought you were aiming high this semester.. yeh the books may be really expensive... but I guess they serve as a stepping stone towards reaching your goal.. so stop complaining and get them!!
